The Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors will hold a special meeting via Zoom at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 29, to consider adoption of emergency rules for the Business Interruption Stipend program, one of the three business relief grant programs established by the Wyoming Legislature on May 16. Governor Mark Gordon signed the bill on May 20.
Pending approval by the Board, the rules will move to the next step in the rulemaking process. The rules are a critical step in the Business Council’s launch of the Business Interruption Stipend program in early June. The remaining two relief programs are expected to launch in early July.
The business relief programs are funded by federal CARES Act money to mitigate financial losses caused by public health orders in reaction to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The public is invited to attend the special meeting remotely by clicking here. Join by phone at 1-346-248-7799.
